Our project aims at bringing the following socio-economic benefits in the region and in particular the North and South-Kivu provinces:

Reduce the risk of limnic eruption of Lake Kivu and appease millions of people living around the lake.
Enable better economic opportunities in the region by providing energy in the form of electricity and gas.
Create directly and indirectly sustainable jobs.
Contribute to better education and easy access to information
Improve living conditions, of which women and children suffer the most when they are precarious.
Supply villages around the power plant with clean drinking water.
Promote and consolidate peace in the region by attracting foreign capital and by creating sustainable jobs directly or indirectly linked to the project.
Help reduce child labour through better employment from parents.
Increase the revenue of the Congolese state through the payment of taxes.
