Christian Hamuli is a registered professional engineer in Alberta (Canada) with over 17 years experience in energy industry regulations, lifecycle development and digital transformation.

Early in his career, He was responsible for coordinating the review and approval of major oil exploitation projects with a total value ranging from 500 million to billions of dollars with project lifespan going from 30 to 40 years. The review was focused on Impact of the project on the environment, economic and social impact, financial impact, technical feasibility of the project and compliance with regulations.
Christian worked for several years in senior technical leadership position at a major Canadian oil and gas company before joining an information technology company at a senior level reporting to its Chief Executive Officer.
Christian currently serves as a board member (governance committee) for a large Calgary based non-profit organization.
Christian was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2005 and a master’s of Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2021.
Christian speaks 4 international languages, enjoys outdoor running and dreams to build an orphanage in the DRC.
